The new Nexa FAQ

FRAMECAD® has made changes to Nexa and machine control software (Factory2) to simplify subscription tiers, improve Nexa usability, and provide a new home for Machine Insights.

What did FRAMECAD change?

As of October 19, 2026, FRAMECAD has:

• Simplified Nexa subscription tiers
• Relocated Machine Insights from MyFRAMECAD to Nexa
• Redesigned the Nexa user interface and navigation

When will I see these changes?

On October 19, 2026 - new Nexa experience

If you already use Nexa, you'll see a redesigned interface and navigation when you log in. All your account and users, and data and login details stay the same.

At next renewal - new Nexa tier

Your subscription tier won't change immediately. FRAMECAD will move you to a new subscription tier the next time you renew a Nexa subscription or a machine control software (Factory2) license.

Machine Insights access

If you use MyFRAMECAD to access Machine Insights, we will email you instructions for creating a Nexa username and login.

Why did you make these changes?

Customer feedback showed that legacy Nexa subscription tiers were difficult to understand. We've consolidated tiers to better reflect how CFS/LGS manufacturing businesses operate. Our goal is to make it easier for you to match Nexa features to your current operational requirements and to allow you to expand later.

We've also redesigned Nexa to provide a clearer progression from production management to inventory, quality, compliance, and tracking capabilities.

What will look different?

Existing Nexa users will see a redesigned interface with more consistent navigation. The goal is to make it easier for you to access the information you need and to complete day-to-day tasks. (See overview.)

Will the change affect my data or access?

No. Access to all your data, users, projects, and machines remains the same. And, unless FRAMECAD advises you otherwise, you and all your users will log in using the same URL, credentials, and passwords.

Will the new Nexa require additional training?

Most customers can continue working as they do today. And you can get in-app AI-powered help with quick access to the Nexa user guide.

What are the new Nexa tiers?

How non-Nexa, Factory2-only customers and legacy Nexa customers correspond to new Nexa subscription tiers.

Original Nexa tiers New Nexa tiers (starting October 19, 2026)
N/A (non-Nexa, Factory2-only customers) Nexa Lite
Nexa Base Nexa Base
Nexa Builder Nexa Pro
Nexa Podium

Nexa Enterprise

How do I access the new Nexa?

For current Nexa customers

Unless FRAMECAD advises you otherwise, log in to your account as you always have.

For non-Nexa, Factory2-only customers

FRAMECAD will email you instructions for creating a Nexa username and login.

When does my tier change?

After October 19, 2026, your new Nexa tier will be reflected in Communities (under FRAMECAD Products) when you renew your Factory2 license or Nexa subscription.

If you have... Your tier changes when you next...
Factory license(s) only renew a Factory license
a Nexa subscription renew a Factory license or Nexa subscription (whichever comes first)

How does this affect my Factory2 license?

At renewal, your FRAMECAD Factory license will appear as FRAMECAD Nexa Lite in Communities.

NOTE! Migration does not affect connectivity or access to your machines. After migration, customers that once used MyFRAMECAD to access Machine Insights will use the Machines module in Nexa, instead.

How will migration affect access to Nexa features?

You will either see no change to available features or you'll have access to additional features, depending on which tier you're migrating from.

Nexa customers migrate from.... to... and will see...
Nexa Base

Nexa Base

no change to available features
Nexa Builder Nexa Pro additional features
Nexa Podium additional features
Nexa Enterprise no change to available features

See Nexa overview for information about functionality per tier.

How will migration affect access to my Nexa account?

Unless FRAMECAD advises you otherwise, migration will not affect user access. You and other users will be able to access your account using the same URL, credentials, and passwords they use now.

Will my price change?

Not during your current term. Your price stays the same until your subscription ends and new tier pricing applies from your next renewal. Nexa Lite is priced the same as Factory licenses today. Your FRAMECAD account manager will help you choose between Nexa Base and Nexa Pro before you renew.

What happens to MyFRAMECAD?

We are retiring MyFRAMECAD. Machine insights now live in the Machines module in Nexa.
