Weekly tool cleaning and hydraulics check
Lubricating the power swage (F450iT only), wiping down the dimple assembly, checking for hydraulic leaks
Operators should do certain tool cleaning and lubrication once a week in addition to daily cleaning and maintenance tasks. FRAMECAD recommends checking for hydraulic system leaks or damage once a week, as well.
WARNING! Turn the isolation switch Off before proceeding.
Note - supplies required: cabinet key, clean rag, light grease or white lithium grease spray
Lubricate the power swage (F450iT only)
Spray white lithium grease or apply light grease to the guide rod for each of the two side dies.

Clean the dimple assembly
Use a clean rag to wipe down the dimple assembly.

Check for hydraulic leaks
Unlock and remove panels (right side) to access hydraulic system. Check for leaks, cuts or damage to hoses and hose fittings, leaking valves at the hydraulic manifold, and leaks at the top of the toolblock or from cylinders under the swage or shear tools.

If you discover a leak, tighten valve or do repairs as necessary.
