General Nexa settings and Nexa Base features

Nexa Base is the free subscription tier. Refer to this section for fundamental settings and features available to Nexa Base and all paid tiers, including:

  • General production management: Managing customer and contact information; creating, managing, editing and deleting projects; downloading, scheduling, and tracking jobs; and pushing jobs to a roll-forming machine queue. 
  • Project management and job scheduling: Viewing a project's plans and panel details; moving sticks to a different job; downloading and running jobs from Nexa, viewing a job schedule and deleting jobs from a schedule.
  • User management: Creating and managing users and user roles.  

Nexa Builder features

Nexa Builder is a paid subscription tier. Refer to the sections under Nexa Builder for guidance using features available with a Nexa Builder subscription:

  • Coil management and coil assignment: adding and deleting a coil; accepting a coil; assigning and unassigning a coil to a project; coil status and coil order status; and previewing and downloading coil labels.
  • Additional project management: Importing projects; creating and managing project templates; restoring deleted and archived projects; managing personnel assignments; installing and setting up the Nexa mobile and viewing project status. 
  • Inventory capabilities: adding, viewing, and editing coils; changing coil inventory mode, accepting coil into inventory; printing machine and coil labels; assigning a coil to a machine; and viewing coil tracking (coil history).

Nexa Podium features

Nexa Podium is a paid subscription tier. Users at this tier have access to the Base and Builder features, plus additional tier-specific features. Look for articles under Nexa Podium for information about tier specific features, including:

  • Saving, submitting, and downloading ICC forms and logs.
  • Completing quality control forms.

Nexa Enterprise features

Nexa Enterprise is a paid subscription tier that includes features from all other tiers. Look under Nexa Enterprise for how to use Enterprise tier-specific features, including: 

  • Stack management: creating a container for a stack; creating and deleting a stack and viewing stack details and properties; adding and removing/deleting a panel to or from a stack; reordering and resenting panels in a stack; setting up custom workflows.
  • Mobile status tracking: using the Nexa mobile app to view stack and panel details and plans; scanning and updating a stack or panel status.
  • Mobile stack management: using the Nexa mobile app to create or delete a stack, add or remove panels to or from a stack, view stack and panel properties, and capture and display status images.
