A look at the FRAMECAD onboarding process
What to expect and do before you receive your FRAMECAD roll-forming machine
Thank you for choosing FRAMECAD® as your construction technology partner.
It takes 14 to 18 weeks from the time you purchase a FRAMECAD roll-former to the time one of our technicians comes to your site to commission your roll-former.
Our Customer Success team will be in contact with you through this period to ensure you get the most out of your FRAMECAD machinery as quickly possible.
Here's what to expect and what you should do over the coming weeks.
Receive your machine specs and profile drawings
Your FRAMECAD Customer Success Coordinator will email you soon after your purchase. This includes an onboarding guide with your machine specifications and profile drawings, and an invitation to schedule an onboarding meeting.
Purchase steel and other supplies as soon as possible
It is important to have steel ready at your site at commissioning time. Your FRAMECAD technician will use this material to set up your run-out tables and to create profile sections for testing and for training your organization's machine operators. Prepare your space
Allocate space for your FRAMECAD roll-former, decoiler, and steel coils, and have a qualified electrician prepare a three-phase power supply if you do not have one already.
Receive your machine delivery
Unload, uncrate, and position your roll-former and decoiler and have a qualified electrician connect your roll-former to your power source.
Commissioning time
A FRAMECAD technician will visit your site to set up run-out tables and run test and demo sections. Ensure your machine operators are on hand for training.
