Changing the hydraulic oil filter

Operators should change the hydraulic filter in the roll-former every six months.

TIP! Schedule to coincide with the monthly roll-former maintenance.

Note - tools required: 16mm spanner, adjustable filter removal wrench, cabinet key, Phillips head screwdriver, replacement oil filter

CAUTION! Do not allow steel shavings, dust, or other contaminants into the hydraulic reservoir. Contaminants may damage roll-former parts.

WARNING! Turn the isolation switch Off before proceeding.

1. Unlock and remove panels (right side, Infeed-end and center panels). Then locate the in-line filter on top of hydraulic reservoir.

2. Disconnect the M12 plug from the sensing switch on the filter cap.

3. Carefully remove the filter cap. Use appropriate wrench if tight. Replace filter.

4. Hand-tighten the filter cap.

5. Reconnect the M12 plug to sensing switch.
